About the College

 Noamundi College is situated in the lap of nature, surrounded by seven hundred hills of Saranda forest. This college is set amidst dense sal tree forest with streams flowing in its vicinity. As Noamundi is placed at the centre of mining belt of Jharkhand and Odisha, most of the population is directly or indirectly dependent on mining and forest resources. This particular part of Jharkhand is inhabited by tribals belonging to ‘HO’ community. Noamundi college caters to the need of local tribal students as well as students from the neighbouring areas and state such as Odisha. Almost 80% of the students of Noamundi College are from scheduled tribe category and 85% of the total students are female candidates. Noamundi College takes pride to play its part in women empowerment and upliftment of the weaker sections of our society. Noamundi College provides quality education to needy students at an affordable fee structure. It aspires students to achieve their dreams and become successful and responsible citizens of India.
